Where is Pretty Hair located?

The Pretty Hair Boutique is located inside of Phoenix Salon and Suites at 8823 Annapolis Rd., Suite 101 Lanham, MD 20706. We are located off of Route 450 behind Red Lobster and next to Retro Fitness

What are your hours of operation?

Sunday By Appt Only  | Tues 2-6pm | Wednesday Closed |  Thursday 2-6 |  Friday 12-7 | Saturday 9-4. If you need to purchase hair outside of our normal hours of operation, you can call to schedule an appointment during those times.  Pretty Hair DMV hours of operation are subject to change due to seasons or holidays. Please call ahead of time to verify hours as they are subject to change.

Am I able to place an order and pick it up at one of the locations or have it delivered?

Yes. You can order and pick up at our location or have our hair delivered same day for an additional fee. Please inquire.

What form of payment do you take? 

In store Pretty Hair accepts cash, Visa and Mastercard with your picture ID. Online we only accept Visa and Mastercard.

How many ounces come in a bundle? 

Approximately 3.5 oz.

How many bundles do I need to complete a full sew-in? 

12”-16” needs 2 bundles (depending on head size), 18”-22” needs 3 or more bundles (depending upon the circumference/size of your head), 24” and longer needs 4 or more bundles. These bundle amounts can be used to achieve a natural look. If you desire a fuller look you will need more.

What is the quality of your hair? 

All of our hair is grade 5A. Our hair does not shed, tangle or matt.  With proper care and maintenance the hair will last for several months.

What is your return or exchange policy?

Pretty Hair does not issue refunds for any reason or circumstance. In the event you need to exchange your hair, you need to do so within 48 hours by notifying Pretty Hair via phone, email or website. If you need to exchange hair that’s been ordered via the website the purchaser is responsible for all return fees associated with shipping and postage. The hair needs to be in its original state and original packaging, exactly how it was sold to you including tags, bags and original receipt. The hair should not be used or altered such as combed, brushed, picked out, cut, processed, rinsed, permed, bleached or colored, etc. All exchanges are subject to the approval of management.

How long does it take to ship and process the orders?

Once the method of payment is accepted and approved, the order will be shipped out within 48 hours Monday – Thursday. Orders place FridaySunday will be shipped out on Monday. Any orders placed on a holiday will be processed the next business day and shipped within 24 hours. All orders will incur a $15 or more shipping charge based on weight.  Express shipping is available for an additional cost of $30 or more. We do not ship on Sundays or Federal Holidays.

How long does Pretty Hair last?

The length of time our hair lasts depends on how you care for the hair. If you follow our hair care guide and maintenance instructions you can extend the life of your hair. Typically Pretty Hair will last for several months up to 1 year.

Can Pretty Hair be colored?

Yes, it can be colored however we do advise that you use a professional colorist that specializes in coloring hair extensions. Even though the hair can be colored, Pretty Hair does not guarantee the outcome of your hair.

Can I cut the wefts?

Pretty Hair will last longer if the wefts are not cut. If you need to cut your weft we recommend sealing the ends so the hair will not shed at the point of cut.

Will my hair wave up again after I straighten it?

Yes it will, but the more you straighten the hair the more you will lose the pattern.  It is important to remember that the more you straighten the pattern the more it will relax.
